Erosion under control after the spring runoff
We lost about six feet of bank along the creek behind the barn two springs running before we finally did something about it. Twenty two tons of number four went in along the worst stretch and around the culvert where the runoff cuts hardest every March. The driver called ahead but still showed up almost two hours past the end of the window, which threw off our whole Saturday since we had a crew standing around waiting. Once it was down though, the stone locked in place through this year's heavy snowmelt and the bank hasn't moved an inch. Worth the wait in the end.

Solid base, a handful of oversized rocks
We put down about fifteen tons for the base under our new driveway gravel, and it compacted better than the crushed concrete our neighbor used two years back.
